Winnie D Winnie is a piano teacher with almost 30 years of teaching experience. Trained with the ABRSM system (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London), she has a Licentiate Teaching Diploma (LTCL) from the Trinity College of Music (London). Over the past years she has trained many students for the ABRSM exams, (RCM) Royal Conservatory exams, the Fraser Valley Kiwanis Music Festival. Winnie teaches classical, theory, technique, Harmony (RCM 9/10), History (RCM 9/10). Some of her students have received outstanding results and have received awards and scholarships and had pursued a career in music. Winnie loves getting to teach what she is most passionate about and her mission is to guide students to enjoy, discover and to increase their knowledge in music. As a teacher she strives to be kind, patient, creative, imaginative and is committed to having each student excel in their best possible way, whether for an exam, recital or for personal knowledge and enjoyment.
