John is dedicated to providing inspired drum lessons for students of all ages. With over 20 years experience as a drum teacher and extensive formal percussion training, John offers a supportive, friendly and versatile approach to teaching drums to suit each student’s musical interests and goals. Learn correct technique, to read sheet music and to count and subdivide. Learn to play your favorite songs and discover the many styles of drumming from around the world. John's ultimate goal as an educator is to instill lifelong learning and to give people a way to express themselves that words alone cannot.
