Elena was born in Athens, Greece and has studied music at some of the most prestigious schools in Canada. She graduated with an Honors Music Education degree at Wilfrid Laurier University and studied with the Penderecki Quarter from Poland for 4 years, finishing her degree at Dalhousie University. She’s been teaching violin and piano for 30 years, She enjoys teaching very much and always looks forward to seeing and teaching her students. In addition to English, she can also teach lessons in Greek. Her student ages have varied from age 3 to 82 Years old and she loves students of all ages. Never too old to learn she says! She’s been concert mistress in multiple orchestras throughout Canada and the US, including playing for Bramwell Tovey, Wayne Gretzky and the late John Candy.
